Not sure why this Ukulele was calling out to be photographed, but this piece was created months before the devastation hit Lahaina in August, 2023. This Ukulele was made in Maui with care and love by the Maui Ukulele Company and is a reminder of the strength of the people and the beauty of Lahaina.
In post-production, I decided to add color to the crown of the pineapple and the Plumeria flower while keeping the rest of the piece in Sepia. It signifies the growth and rebirth of Lahaina as I have come to know that the wonderful people who live on this island are indeed Maui Strong.
Comes as a borderless print (ready for you to frame). Our printer uses E-Surface Paper that has a Standard Archival Value of one hundred years in home display.
